What We Do
70+ churches and 100+ institutions bringing faith, education and healing to every stage of life.
How ALC Serves
The ALC ministries of Arcot Lutheran Church (ALC) Central serve people through more than 70 churches and over 100 institutions across Tamil Nadu, India. Our ALC ministries bring together worship, education, healthcare and community care under one mission.
Our churches nurture faith and fellowship. Our schools and colleges help young people learn and grow, our hospitals bring healing to families, our boarding homes and hostels give students a safe home, and our community service institutions reach those who need care the most.
Every one of these ALC ministries is rooted in our motto of Faith, Education and Healing. Together they form a network of care that has served Tamil Nadu since 1914.
Our ALC Ministries
Choose the ministry closest to your heart — every gift supports people across Tamil Nadu.
More than 70 ALC churches gather people for worship, prayer and fellowship. Our pastors walk with families through every season of life.
ALC schools, colleges and training institutes provide quality, values-based education for children and young people from every background.
ALC hospitals carry forward the Church’s ministry of healing, caring for the sick and supporting the communities around them.
Our boarding homes and hostels give children and students a safe, caring place to live while they study, with food, shelter and guidance.
Our community service institutions reach out to people in need, living out the Church’s ministry of practical love and care.
We keep our church family connected through a members-only portal, event reminders and WhatsApp greetings for birthdays and anniversaries.
